DAY 01 : Arrive Istanbul
Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel. Day is free at leisure. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
DAY 02 : Istanbul City Tour
Visit to ST. SOPHIA This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time. TOPKAPI PALACE The great palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries housing an exquisite collection of cyrstal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, the Holy Mantle; enshrining relics of the Prophet Mohammed. SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE Across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. HIPPODROME Ancient Hippodrome, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Lunch break at 13:00pm after the lunch Murtis Tour will then take you to the GRAND COVERED BAZAAR In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more then 4, 000 shops with each trade having its own area: the goldsmiths street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand - honed copperware, brassware and trays, water ewers, onyx - ware and meerschaum pipes. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 03 : Istanbul Tour
Today visit the Grand Spice Bazaar, mystical smells of different aromas of various spices. Shops selling fruits, vegetables, fish, flowers etc. Then take you to the Bosporus Cruise, through the water way separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with a possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residential and luxurious apartments. Rumeli Fortress (from the boat – no interior visit), historical armament built by the Conqueror to control and protect the Bosporus.
A unique example of military architecture.Lunch at around 13:00 pm.CAMLICA HILL the highest point in Istanbul. At the top of it you can rest and admire the magnificent panorama of Istanbul and the Bosporus from the beautiful gardens, landscaped in traditional Turkish Ottoman style. Today you wilaldo visit Galata Tower and some free time in Taksim Square. The rest of the evening is yours to explore Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 04 : Istanbul to Cappadocia
Today we depart for Istanbul Ataturk Airport for domestic flight to Cappadocia. Transfer from airport and check in to your hotel in Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 05 : Cappadocia Tour
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up from your hotel and drive to Derinkuyuunderground city, one of the best preserved and deepest Underground cities in Cappadocia. Derinkuyu Underground city is 55 meters deep and 8 levels open to visitors.afterthet we will drive you to Ihlara valley which is a 16 km long canyon and both side are lined with rock carved churches.
We will have 3 km hike and visit one of the churches in the valley. End of the hiking lunch be served at the Belisirma village beside river.After lunch we will visit Selime monastery, caved out of the rock by christian monks in the 13th centry On the way back to hotel we will stop at the pigeon valley. Overnight at Cappadocia.
DAY 06 : Cappadocia to Antalya
Morning depart for Kayseri airport for our domestic flight to Antalya. Transfer from Antalya airport to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore Antalya. Overnight in Antalya.
DAY 07 : Antalya Old City Tour
After breakfast drive to Aspendos Theatre, Old city Kaleici, Clock Tower. Aspendos Theatre - Aspendos is known for his best-preserved theater of antiquity with seating for 15.000. Still used today, the theater's galleries, stage decorations and acoustics all testify to the architects success. Nearby stand the remains of a basilica, agora and one of the largest aqueducts in Anatolia. Aspendus was a major port city in the Roman period with the navigable river of Koprucay. Visitors usually only see the theater on the hillside, however the aqueduct is also recommended.
According to ancient tradition the city was founded by Mopsus in the 13C BC. In the 6C BC the Lydian King Croesus took Aspendus. After Cyrus's victory over Croesus in the same century the city became Persian. In the 5C BC Aspendus minted its own silver coins. Alexander the Great took over from the Persians in the 4C BC. In the Roman period Aspendus entered into good relations with Rome. After the tour if you would like to do some cheap shopping just tell your guide and they will happily arrange this for you. DAY 08 : Day at Leisure
After breakfast day is at Leisure enjoy the Antalya by your own ( Optional Tour – Approx. 03 Hours Per Way : Pamukkale Tour - depart for guided tour of the breathtaking white calcium cliffs of Pamukkale. You can bathe in the heated waters and visit the ancient ruins also found here. An approximately four and a half hours journey through forests and country villages will take you to this beautiful place. Visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, walk on the snow? Ice?Mirage?Clouds? The beautiful cascades and swim in a spa. Try some delicious samples of the Turkish cuisine. Leave for Antalya) Overnight in Antalya.
DAY 09 : Departure
After breakfast check out from the hotel and on time transfer to the airport to board your return flight.
